We had a great weekend, and it started with warm sunny, not windy Florida sunshine days. Man, do I miss the nice weather. It's been two months of coldness and achy bones. Anyway, we went for a nice motorcycle ride out to Plant City but couldn't get ourselves to spend the $9.99 for a 1/2 flat of strawberries. Ouch! The freeze really affected those prices. Then we worked at the Nuclear Cowboyz motorcycle thrill show at the Forum. It was pretty entertaining and short, we got out of there before 10 pm.
Sunday we wandered over to MOSI to give blood and get our free admission tickets for the Renaissance Festival for a future weekend when we have out of town visitors. The afternoon was spent installing kitchen knobs and close cushion hinges. Then we took the ST1300 over to a packed Busch Gardens to see Huey Lewis and the News live concert at Gwazi Park. The warm weather really helped the attendance, as the parking lot was full and closed, and the venue had probably over 5000 people there. It was packed! Thanks to our friends for saving us seats, we didn't have to stand like hundreds of others did. We'll have to remember to get to Pat Benatar concert next Sunday earlier to get a good seat.
Then Jimmie Johnson won the cup race, Yeah! Off to a great start for the year, maybe he'll get his 5th Championship in a row this year.
